This is DasDubbers first Featured Member car of the month.
Name: Jesse Schinkel
Occupation: automotive service technician
Location: Calgary Alberta
Age: 22
Car: Jetta. base model w/sunroof
Year: 1987 (same year as me!)
Color:silver/rust two tone
Engine: 1.8L 8v
Body mods: speed dents, eyelids, roof basket.
Engine mods: swiss cheese airbox
Suspension Mods: modified FK cup kit
Wheels/Tires: 15'' corrado steel rims with 165/45/15 federal formoza
Interior/Stereo: blue plaid scirocco buckets, extended long throw 8-ball shifter, m&m headliner, hula chick.
Lighting: cracked and bruised euro setup w/ steel rock guards, spot light.
Thanks to: my brother, shane, for giving the car to me.
How long have you owned the car? since sometime in the spring of 2009.
What was your goal with the car? my goal at first was to lower it alot and drive it temporarily but then it got out of control.
What mods have you done to the car? notched frame for driveshaft clearance, custom steel plated oil pan and subframe.
What mods were done to the car when you got it? nothing. it was completely stock.
Is the car finished? it will never be finished, right up to the day it gets crushed.
What are you future plans with the car? i've always been interested in seeing a mk2 jetta wagon...
Do you race or autocross the car? never been raced.

Who helped you build the car? none
Anything else you want to add? this has literally been the best car as far as the ''fun factor'' goes. i dig it.

i always love seeing you in this thing and seeing whats next to come. as well as speed dents you should add fuel spill "matte spill mark" from the day you came over with a leaking drum on your roof. |
