Hey guys,
So my rear bumper cover is falling off. I took it off and today and most of the clips are either completely broken or mangled. Exterior of it is still minty though so I'd like to keep it. Any ideas for keeping it on there? Should I just find a drill and some zipties? Thanks. _________________ ...And when has a zip-tie ever failed anyone?

Guess I should start saving my pennies... Anyone have any creative ideas for holding it on? And to clarify because re-reading my post I sound like a tard, I have some thoughts but am just fleshing out all the options. Thanks guys. _________________ ...And when has a zip-tie ever failed anyone?

Kind of ghetto, but drill two small holes on the bottom of the bumper cover through the cover and rebar, then use two zipties to keep it in place.
Run the zipties just right and you'll barely be able to see em.
Be creative. My front bumper is held on by zipties, but you will never be able to see them. _________________ 91 TD 1.6/1.9 frankenmotor |

If I had to do it again, I'd get some aluminum flat stock from Princess Auto for the brackets and use nylon self-locking nuts instead of all those lock washers. |
im not gonna lie... Thats a pretty awsome idea _________________

| I always used zipties under the signal lamps, you cant see the zipties when the signals are put back in. |

That is a pretty good idea... now to make it work for my application! ...or maybe the zipties if I get lazy... _________________ ...And when has a zip-tie ever failed anyone?
